The use of tools is what has defined us as intelligent beings.. The software development
environment afforded by 4GL (fourth generation languages) tools is very popular for developing GUI interfaces,
i.e. Microsoft Visual Basic, Powersoft PowerBuilder. For example, these tools provide screen and report "painters"
to facilitate the creation of user interfaces.
